Line Packers

FULL TIME - 40 Hours Per Week  - Working on a rota basis that will include at least one day at the weekend.

Location: Linton, Maidstone ME17 4BA

Own transport advised due to rural location

This is a fulltime Line Packer role, sorting and packaging fruit into punnets ready to be sent to our customers working in a fast paced production line environment which will include long periods of standing 

Our Packhouse operates 7 days a week. Staff work 5 days with 2 days off. You will be issued a rota and the shift will include at least one day at the weekend.

 Flexibility is essential, the start and finish times of shifts and hours worked per day can vary depending on the season and the orders.

Duties to include:

• To ensure the product is packed to the standard set
• To ensure the Quality of product on the packing line meets the specification of the customer
• To ensure a clean as you go policy on the packing line
• To ensure compliance to the hygiene standards
• To ensure compliance to BRC Standards
• To follow Operating Standards
• To liaise with the Line Leaders on all issues
• To liaise with the Quality team on all quality issues

£10.50 per hour - Overtime Rate £15.75 per hour
